Subjetividad y corporeidad en el abordaje sociológico
Resumen
Este artículo, producto del proyecto “Corporalidad y subjetividad: cuerpo y producción de identidad en la escuela”,1 indaga el tratamiento que diferentes perspectivas sociológicas han aportado y aportan a la teorización sobre la construcción del cuerpo y la subjetividad, especialmente en la institución escolar. La sociología decimonónica ha realizado aportes fundamentales respecto del vínculo entre lo social y lo individual, entre las estructuras objetivas y las subjetivas. En los aportes del pensamiento social clásico de la segunda mitad del siglo xix y principios del xx —en los que son inhallables categorías como “construcción del cuerpo” y “producción de subjetividad”— vemos esbozados los que serán objetos de conocimiento relativamente tardíos dentro del campo de los estudios sociales: el cuerpo y la subjetividad como constructos sociales. Éstos se configuran en el marco de lo que considero un nuevo paradigma de pensamiento acerca del individuo humano. Dicho enfoque se conforma a partir del desplazamiento de la reflexión desde el orden de lo natural hacia el orden institucional-social que postula una nueva relación individuo-sociedad. Este desplazamiento impactará en las perspectivas dualistas cuerpo-alma referidas al sujeto. A su vez, la sociología procesual de Norbert Elias, heredera de la tradición clásica, aportará importantes avances en esta dirección.

Abstract
“This article is result of my investigation Body and Subjectivity: Body and production of the identity into the school. The proyect analyses different insights of the social sciences theories respect the social construction of the body and social personality or subjectivity. In this sense is very important to establish relevant group of concepts like person, individual and body. I consider necessary to study the evolution of this notions along the time. The xix century sociology is one of the first disciplines that analyse the relation between the subjectives and socials estructures. In spite of it is impossible to find categories like body construction or subjectivity construction in the ninenteen century sociology, I want demonstrate some incipient categories were formulated for Durkheim. I consider we were in a new paradigm in the social sciences field. By the way, social topics like body and subjectivity are central in the xxi century and they are destroiyng de dualistic perspectives about de human individual. In this sense, the processual sociology of Norbert Elias continues the clasical social thought and in the same time is an important contribution about how the subjects, bodies and identities are constructed into the society.
